Flu season is just around the corner. Everyone is welcome to come to the Pine Mountain clubhouse Wednesday, Oct. 22, 11 a.m.–1 p.m. for a flu vaccination shot, first come, first served. The fee is only $9.
“Everyone six months of age and older is urged to get the vaccination,” said Dr. Claudia Jonah, Kern County’s Health Officer. “At highest risk are children, those over 65 years of age, pregnant women and those with an underlying chronic condition such as HIV, asthma or cancer that weakens the immune system, ” she said.
PMC clubhouse is at Mil Potrero Highway and Beechwood Way.
