Some Normality Returns for Mountain Graduates

Frazier Mountain High School principal (and ETUSD superintendent) Sara Haflich has updated us on the exciting news that the following events are on, for FMHS seniors and El Tejon Middle School 8th-graders:

Saturday, May 29: FMHS Junior-Senior prom (at a Santa Clarita hotel venue)
Tuesday, June 1: Senior Banquet and Awards, FMHS
Wednesday, June 2: El Tejon 8th-grade graduation, FMHS football field
Thursday, June 3: FMHS graduation, FMHS football field

Haflich added that she is currently making arrangements with Kern County Public Health to bring a mobile vaccine unit up to the high school. This will make vaccinations conveniently available to all high school students who wish to receive them, as well as to any staff members who would like to get vaccinated who have not already.

Note: Adventist Health’s mobile vaccine unit will be at Frazier Mountain Park Community Center this Saturday, May 22, 10 a.m.–1 p.m., offering vaccines to anyone 16+. Organizer Josh Pierce says they will have all three vaccine brands available at this week’s event.
