The best well in the Frazier Park Public Utility District’s water system was still gushing 500 gallons per minute (gpm) last month, right up until they had to pull the pump for a $47,000 rehab job. Holes such as this at 130 feet were detected by a video sounding test last month in FPPUD’s 500 gpm Well 5 in the Cuddy Creek flood plain along Frazier Mountain Park Road east of Frazier Park.
