UPDATE—LEBEC, CA (Monday, March 3, 2014 at 11 a.m.)— An additional game has been added, Athletic Director Jerry Quick reports: “We have added a home varsity baseball game vs. Tehachapi on March 18 at 3:15 p.m. at Frazier Mountain High School.

ORIGINAL STORY: Baseball Season has begun: Tuesday, March 4 at Albert Einstein Academy, 4:15 p.m.—boys and girls varsity only; Wednesday, March 5 at Taft, 3:30 p.m.—boys varsity only; Thursday, March, 6 at Arvin, 3:15 p.m.—boys varsity, girls varsity and JV. There is no JV boys team yet.

The Winter Sports Banquet hosted by the FMHS Booster Club is Monday, March 3 at 6 p.m. at the high school (see Calendar, page 11).

The Booster Club board meeting is Monday, March 10, 6:30 p.m., Caveman Cavey’s Pizza. Come learn how you can support school sports.
