Frazier Park woman loses home and precious memories in fire

In 2025, wildfires continue to threaten communities across California with growing intensity. For most people, the danger remains abstract, a trauma that others go through. For Frazier Park resident Pamela Gomez, the unimaginable became reality on Sunday, June 29, when she received the devastating news that her home had been destroyed in a fire.

Gomez was out of town when she got the call that her house, located at 4401 Irvon Trail in Frazier Park, was gone. Gomez has owned the house for four years. She purchased it with cash received from a wrongful death settlement following a tragic 2017 car accident…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
