Frazier Park water supply is extremely low—residents asked to reduce their use

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Monday, Oct. 10, 2022 at 1:15 p.m.)—Frazier Park residents are still being asked to sharply reduce their use of water. FPPUD management has been able to arrange water transportation trucks, but levels need to be sustained until the new well comes online east of the Post Office.

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022 at 2:39 p.m.)—Frazier Park is now close to losing water service. Manager Jonnie Allison is asking all in Frazier Park to cut water usage down to a bare minimum while he works on getting water transport services lined up in an effort to avoid a total shutdown.

Allison told The Mountain Enterprise that some users of Facebook have been claiming, “We pay for the water, so we’re going to use it!” without thinking through the full ramifications of their actions.

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Friday, Oct. 7, 2022 at 5:30 p.m.)—Frazier Park Public Utility District’s Well #5 went down Thursday, likely as a result of nearby drilling for a new well that will replace #5. Areas affected are from the middle of town near Caveman Cavey’s Pizza east to Johnson and Harriet Roads. Water is being trucked in to keep the tank full. All residents are asked to conserve water as much as possible.
