UPDATE—FRAZIER PARK, CA (Thursday, Nov. 20, 2015)—The second meeting to set priorities for the new Friends of Frazier Mountain Park will be held Monday, Nov. 23, 6:30 to 8 p.m.at Caveman Cavey’s Cave in Frazier Park.

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015)—A core group gathered this morning at Frazier Park Library to launch a Friends of Frazier Mountain Park. The core said they are inspired by the “Park Master Plan” meetings. They said they were impressed by the number of people who want to volunteer to help maintain Frazier Mountain Park. They decided to take the next step.

The group of five met with Supervisor David Couch to explore options for achieving better maintenance of the public spaces in Frazier Park.

Organizational meetings will take place on Monday, Nov. 16 at 6:30 to 8 p.m. at La Sierra Restaurant and Monday, Nov. 23 at 6:30 to 8 p.m., location TBD. It is an open work meeting to draw up plans. Those interested in being a Friend of Frazier Mountain Park are welcome to join the team. Just come to La Sierra Restaurant at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 16.
