Gorman School students from ages 4 to 14 asked questions about what it is like to be a fireman—or a journalist, a photographer, an L.A. Dodgers’ staffer or a digital marketer—at Gorman School’s annual Career Day on May 13.

Krystle Halaby, age 7; Rossmerry Velazquez, 5; and Giselle Sanchez, 5, asked about being a journalist.

Gorman Superintendent Dena Kiouses, Administrative Assistant Denise Saenz and Teacher Michi Knight organized the Career Day. Firefighter Specialist Mishel Harteni, Captain Bill Edwards and Firefighter Cody Letz arrived in the shiny red and chrome LACFD Engine 77, with flashing lights.
