GORMAN, CA (Monday, May 20, 2013 at 1:35 p.m.)—A small grass fire reported about 1 p.m. this afternoon just north of Gorman, along Interstate 5 was met with swift action by Los Angeles County Fire Department, Kern County Fire Department and Los Padres National Forest. Two helicopters and a strike team of firefighters on the ground appear to have controlled as it was threatening structures on the hills above and north of Gorman.
