Harvest Moon for Falcons’ Hometown Homecoming

A stunning Harvest Moon rose over Frazier Mountain High School’s Falcon Field for the homecoming game against Alpaugh High School Friday, Oct. 6. It was a night for a young team from a small school to show their heart and for their classmates, friends, families and neighbors to show their hometown spirit.

Pageantry has priority in such rituals. The homecoming parade circled the field, led by the Law Enforcement Leadership Academy marching the flag past the grandstand twice. Cheerleaders followed with flashing…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)

Luis Zuniga (#4) had a bleeding injury when an Alpaugh player ran over his arm after a first quarter tackle. Joe Flores assists Cheer Team Coach and stand-in medic Brianna White to clean and wrap the wound. Zuniga was off the field for another injury in the 4th quarter.

Dylan Ferguson (#28) bursts through the banner as the Falcons run onto the field.

Each class and the FFA created a homecoming float.
