Enormous numbers are increasing exponentially as results from more tests for the coronavirus disease Covid-19 are beginning to flow from America’s Centers for Disease Control (the CDC).

45% Surge Overnight

Overnight, the number of those infected in the United States surged in a 45% leap from Wednesday, March 18 to Thursday morning March 19. Nearly 9,000 people have now tested positive in the U.S. since more tests have belatedly begun to become available.

Overnight the United States leaped onto the same growth curve as Italy. Compare that to the flat growth curve for Hong Kong, Singapore, even Japan. Flatten the curve! Avoid groups. Wash your hands. Social distancing is critical to slow the curve.
