Hospitals, vaccination rollout face staffing crunch

It is “stressful” at Kern County hospitals this week, reported Matt Constantine on Tuesday, Jan. 5. Kern County’s director of public health told the board of supervisors that hospitals are “managing well” during the current surge of covid-19 cases, which is worse than the July surge, he said.
