LEBEC, CA (Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011 at 10 p.m.)— Breaking News Report submitted by community reporters Bill and Gigi Day:
We saw a house on fire in Lebec at 8 p.m. Gigi and I were returning from Bakersfield, and spotted a burning house in Lebec from the I-5. We called 911 to report. We were told trucks were just being dispatched, and saw the fire truck from Mettler (Tejon Ranch) just crossing the freeway, and searching for a way to the fire. The house was fully engulfed in flames and already
appeared to be a total loss.

The Mountain Enterprise will seek additional details and report them here as soon as possible.
