UPDATE—Lebec, CA (Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 10 p.m.)—The Frazier Mountain High School girls soccer team finished their 2016 season at Fowler High School Tuesday, March 8. They scored the first points in the game and fought a great game in the CIF Southern California Sectional playoffs, Coach Sharon Lemburg reports, but the Division VI champions lost 2-5 against the the Division V team. The game brought to a close an inspiring season in which the Falcons started out learning, and then continued to improve every week. They tied for second in the High Desert League, then took the CIF Division VI championship in playoffs.

UPDATE:
“We are playing at Fowler High School at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8,” Coach Sharon Lemburg said on Monday. “There are 8 teams left in the CIF Southern Regional Playoffs for Division V. There is no further statewide playoff for Division VI,” Lemburg added. So the Frazier Mountain High School Falcons—Division VI champs—are being offered the opportunity to jump up a division to battle against the Division V champs.

Fowler High School is south of Fresno. It will take about 2 hours 15 minutes to drive from I-5 North to SR 99 North all the way to W Exit 123 from Hwy 99 N to Merced St in Fowler. Continue on W Merced St. to Main Street, and continue to Fowler High School at 701 East Main Street, Fowler, CA 93625.
