It was hot Saturday and Sunday—not by Bakersfield standards, but for our cool, crisp mountains, it was hot!
In Frazier Park, the thermometer hit 99ºF. In Pine Mountain Club at the Wine In The Pines festival, it was 100ºF.
But at 2:40 p.m. on Saturday, the Cooling Center in Frazier Park was empty.
On days when the temperature reaches 93ºF, the Cooling Center at 3801 Park Drive will be open from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
