What is Transitional Kindergarten?

Linda Thomason was surrounded by pink hearts in her spacious classroom at Frazier Park School just before Valentine’s Day last week. Tiny five-year-olds clustered in small groups at low tables and on the carpet at half a dozen “choice center” activities.
