A jaw-dropping report was issued by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) on Monday, Aug. 12.

The latest state inventory of climate-changing emissions compiles 17 years of data about greenhouse gas emissions (GHG—which contribute to climate warming); gross domestic product (GDP—economic growth indicators); and population.
