John Lee Dever took his place as caller in heaven’s greatest bingo hall on January 11, 2022.

Born October 28, 1943, in Denver, Colorado, to Leland (Lee) and Florence Dever, he attended high school in Palmdale, California, graduating in 1962.

John and DiAnn Dever were married December 20, 1972, and gave the term soulmates a new definition. Combined, they have five children, twelve grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. The couple has spent 50 years as best friends, renewing their vows at St. Francis Catholic Church in Bakersfield, and again as Mr. And Mrs. Santa Claus at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
