The well-loved “Junior” suffered multiple heart attacks on December 18, and passed the next evening at San Joaquin Community Hospital.

The family is in mourning, with black wreaths on the doors to the restaurant and their homes. The community’s heartfelt condolences are pouring out to the Caveys, who have been pillars of this community and Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church.

Plans are still being developed for the memorial service. John Cavey, Junior’s father, asks that you stay tuned for the time and place for the memorial.

A formal obituary and announcement with confirmed details will be submitted by the family shortly.
