Katie Duhm accepted a VFW award from Dee Bumgardner for an essay to honor American veterans. She graduated from FMHS in 2016.
Top: Four months after her diagnosis in 2013, Katie Duhm gave a presentation to the Mountain Communities Chamber of Commerce about Type 1 Diabetes. Last month she performed a dance with In the Wings to show her insulin pump and tell of its impact on her dreams.
