On Tuesday October 21, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) hosted its combined Halloween and annual National Night Out event at Stramler Park in Bakersfield. The event was open to the public and filled with children, families, and law enforcement officers, many dressed up for the holiday. Nearly every law enforcement agency with a presence in the county had a booth for the event, as did several politicians, retail stores, and other public agencies.
