Kern County moves to Orange Tier, vaccines are up

Misconceptions and hesitancy respond to education, information and freedom

As we go to press Wednesday, Kern County has moved into the Orange Tier of the state’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy. If our case rates, testing positivity rates and health equity metric rates continue moving in positive directions, we may pop into yellow by early to mid-May.
