MISSING PERSON FOUND

UPDATE–LEBEC, CA (Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019 at 10:15 a.m.)—Salvador Garza has been located by San Francisco Police and is in fine condition, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.

LEBEC, CA (Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019 at 1:29 p.m.)—The Kern County Sheriff’s Office notified us about a missing person. The media release statement is as follows:

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in locating missing elderly male, Salvador Garza, from Frazier Park. Salvador was last seen September 18, 2019, at approximately 8:50 a.m. wearing a white shirt and jacket with blue jeans, driving a 2008 tan-colored Hummer (CA License 6FGT201) from Lebec, CA. Salvador was last seen heading toward Interstate-5, possibly travelling northbound toward the San Francisco area. Salvador suffers from the early stages of dementia. If anyone has information regarding Salvador’s whereabouts, they are asked to contact the Kern County Sheriff’s Office at (661)861-3110. Reference case number 2019-00152068.
