WHAT: Kern County Sheriff’s Office officials will provide the community with an update on recent burglaries.

WHEN: Saturday, June 22 at 9:30 a.m.

WHERE: The Condor Room in the Pine Mountain Clubhouse

A flurry of recent burglaries has PMC residents concerned over not only the break-ins at homes, but also tempers that are flaring with talk of residents armed with shotguns, a retired police officer armed with a handgun and rumors of vigilante justice throughout the neighborhoods.

Sheriff Donny Youngblood will not be attending, but will send his command staff to brief community members on the matter.
