The weather was perfect and the course pristine on Saturday, September 13, as the Kern Fire Safe Council (KFSC) hosted its inaugural 18-hole golf tournament at the Pine Mountain Club Golf Course.
According to tournament coordinator and KFSC Outreach Coordinator Kelsey Van Havermaat, the four-man scramble was an idea brought forth by Pine Mountain Club Property Owners’ Association board member Shawn Coulter. “He has a heart to help grow the council and increase awareness of fire safety in PMC.” The day served as…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
