Krav Maga is coming back to the Mountain Communities! This is the official self-defense program of the Israeli Defense Force that was demonstrated at the Frazier Park Library in October. Now a women’s self-defense seminar is scheduled for In the Wings Studio of Dance for April.

You’ll learn basic safety awareness with self-defense moves for a variety of situations.

First-degree Black Belt Chris Crouch of Burbank Krav Maga will instruct. Mark your calendar now: the workshop is Saturday, April 5, 3:30-5:30 p.m., for adult women and girls only, ages 14 and up. Cost to participate is $20 per person.

Wear comfortable clothing and sneakers. Minors (ages 14-17) must have a parent or guardian present before the program to sign the waiver form.

This is part of the February 21, 2014 online edition of The Mountain Enterprise.
