FRAZIER PARK, CA (Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 3:45 p.m.)—Lake of the Woods resident Thomas Roberts (a.k.a. Jersey), who was seriously injured in a motorcycle vs. car collision yesterday, is said by his friend, Scott Bachrach, to have come out of a successful surgery today.

CHP Sgt. Karr told The Mountain Enterprise Tuesday at Frazier Mountain Park, as the medevac helicopter was taking off with Roberts on board, a Kia Soul was westbound on Frazier Mountain Park Road at about 6:30 p.m., making a left turn onto Lakewood Place, and he believes that Roberts was eastbound with his Harley Davidson motorcycle on Frazier Mountain Park Road when the two collided. Early reports were that Roberts’ left leg had been “partially amputated” in the crash.

A GoFundMe.com page has been set up where friends, family and acquaintances have been depositing money to help with the expenses that Reberts will face to maintain support of daily life and the moving expenses that will be necessary as his current home will not be compatible with his new needs, according to Bachrach, who set up the GoFundMe page.
