Laughs, local history, and “Impossible Achievements” highlight Fringe of the Woods Festival

Fringe of the Woods Festival returned for its fifth year from August 8 to August 10, offering theater performances to the mountain communities. Peter Kjenaas, one of the festival organizers, brought together friends from a creative community he studied theater with in San Francisco during the 1980s for a reunion, and blended them with local performers. Kjenaas said, “I do this to bring the world here, because I can no longer go there.”
