Groundbreaking for the Tejon Mountain Village project in Lebec may be nearing launch. The publicly traded Tejon Ranch Company (TRC) announced the hiring of a new vice president for community development last week.

Bret A. Schumacher, the announcement said, is “an experienced real estate development executive whose work developing master planned residential and resort communities spans from Florida to Hawaii.”
