Lebec Mandatory Water Conservation Order Is Extended

UPDATE — LEBEC, CA (Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 10:30 a.m.)—Lebec County Water District has told The Mountain Enterprise the mandatory conservation order is extended until Friday, June 25 at 5 p.m. “The well is being repaired and water must be sampled [by the lab] and treated before the order is lifted,” Manager Jessica Carroll said Wednesday morning. The mandatory conservation order began on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.

LEBEC, CA (Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 9:38 a.m.)—Lebec County Water District has issued a mandatory conservation order to be observed for the next 24 hours (until 9:30 a.m., Wednesday morning). The order was described in a district announcement as “Use as little water as possible.” The district is repairing a well in its system, according to this morning’s announcement.
