LEBEC, CA (Monday, Jan. 20, 2020 at 10:30 a.m.)—A power outage in Lebec that began Sunday afternoon has had power intermittently going off and on through this morning. Lebec resident Bill Hopper said the power went down Sunday around 3 p.m. then came back on about 10 p.m. Sunday night. Jeff Peltier at Lebec Automotive on Landfill Road was angry about PG&E’s system failure. “The power was brought back on last night, and it was on when I arrive to work this morning, then it went off again,” he said. A PG&E spokesperson said the company will respond to The Mountain Enterprise with answers to questions about the outlook for restoring power. At one point, an estimated 500 customers had been affected.
