INCIDENT CLEARED: Mt. Pinos Road closed at the ‘Y’—Other roads open

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 8:57 p.m.)—Kern County Roads Department has closed Mt. Pinos Road at the “Y” due to snow and ice conditions.

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 8:54 a.m.)—A light snow is covering cars with a thin layer of white this morning, but has not begun sticking to roads in the Frazier Park area. The National Weather Service forecasts much of today’s snow to come after noon with little or no snow accumulation today. Tonight the forecast is currently for 3 to 5 inches of snow, mainly before midnight. There are no reported road closures locally at this time.
