Mountain Communities for Fire Safety targets Cuddy project

Teresa Grow of Cuddy Valley is on the verge of becoming famous locally for her amazing sourdough bread that sells out in an hour every Saturday at Nature’s Home Market Day.
But last week she didn’t bake. She was too busy in conference calls with scientists, environmental watchdogs and attorneys.
Grow became alarmed at the apparent deafness of Los Padres National Forest Supervisor Kevin Elliott to a petition from 275 mountain residents (gathered in a week), which was driven to Goleta and hand-delivered to Elliott’s office…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
