LOW breaks ground on water lines and meters

After years of planning, and having wells go dry, Lake of the Woods Mutual Water Company (LOWMWC) broke ground Tuesday, Nov. 6, to replace 1,700 feet of the old, failing pipes that have been leaking 40 percent of the system’s water.

In 2016, LOWMWC applied for a $1.4 million grant from State Department of Water Resources. This grant allowed LOWMWC to obtain…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
