FRAZIER PARK, CA (Friday, July 8, 2022 at 6:50 p.m.)—The suspect was taken into custody at about 6:40 p.m..

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Friday, July 8, 2022 at 6:20p.m.)—When our reporter was on San Salvador Trail for the reported sighting around 5 pm, there were several CHP units watching for him. If someone reports seeing him they will respond.

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Friday, July 8, 2022 at 4:50 p.m.)—The suspect was reportedly seen in the 3400 block of San Salvador Trail (a block north of San Carlos Trail) where he asked a resident to use a phone to call his girlfriend.

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Friday, July 8, 2022 at 3:55 p.m.)—CHP has confirmed that the search for the suspect has been suspended. See photo at right. Anyone who sees the suspect is requested to call 911.

FRAZIER PARK, CA (Friday, July 8, 2022 at 10:50 a.m.)—After a high-speed chase through the business district of Frazier Park, California Highway Patrol officers and Kern County Sheriff’s deputies continue to search for the driver of a white, late-model Chevy Malibu that crashed at the intersection of Mt. Pinos Way and Oak Lane. The search is now centered in the area of the 2800-2900 block of Johnson Road in the east area of Frazier Park. A sheriff’s helicopter and a CHP k-9 unit are assiting in the search. The suspect is described as a black male with black shirt, black pants with white stripe, tall black socks and red tennis shoes. Call 911 if you see someone matching that description.
