This is Teacher Appreciation Week for El Tejon Unified School District, celebrated May 3-7 at each school site—Frazier Mountain High School, El Tejon Middle School, Frazier Park Elementary and the Condor Academy.

Classified school employees such as bus drivers, clerks, secretaries and maintenance workers are celebrated May 16-22, so cookies and cards may be in order. For the staff of ETUSD, just seeing students back in school is a major gift all by itself.

“It is amazing to see school buses on the road, and to hear kids laughing and screaming on the playground again,” said Audrey Weingarten, administrative assistant for the superintendent at the district office.
