The Death of Peter LeBeck Ghost Walk and Candlelight Tour: 4-9:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19

In Halloween season the mountain comes alive with tales of the undead. The Fort Tejon Historical Association produces a memorable experiences of history rising from the afterlife. This weekend, take your family, your date and your friends to visit with ancient ghosts, all reconstructed from real tales in the archives of unique Fort Tejon Historical State Park, a treasure of the Mountain Communities.

Ghosts walk the paths of the old Fort Tejon compound. Hear them slither across the wooden floors of the dragoons’ barracks or wail through the night in revenge for murder. You’ll see Peter LeBeck search for the grizzly that took his arm, leaving him lifeless under an ancient oak. But wait, there are also fun games from the 1850s, mulled cider, food and treats. Join the spooky fun.

At Fort Tejon, just off the Fort Tejon exit of the Interstate 5, north of Lebec. This Saturday only.
