Meeting on Closing a School Confirmed for Monday, Aug. 20 at 7 p.m.

The El Tejon Unified School District Board of Trustees held a special meeting on August 15 to do some of the business they had not accomplished on the aborted meeting of August 8. The board voted to go forward with Superintendent Katie Kleier’s request to allocate $14,500 for a San Francisco consultant, PCG Education, to prepare a report regarding the closing of one ETUSD campus—or "mothballing," as one trustee prefers to call it.

That done, Kleier confirmed after the board meeting that the Monday, Aug. 20 public meeting at 7 p.m. will be held at Frazier Park Elementary School (3149 San Carlos Trail, just off of Mt. Pinos Way in Frazier Park).

All the public is invited to attend, to ask questions, make comments and to receive a briefing about the proposed "facilities review."
