Meth Sales Arrest in Frazier and Search in LOW

Kern County Sheriff’s Frazier Park substation investigators said they located
methamphetamine and packaging materials when they served a search warrant on the
2900 block of Harriet Road, Thursday, March 8.

Gordon Koss, 60, was arrested on charges of possession for sale (meth),
possession of methamphetamine, possession for sale (marijuana), and unlawful
possession of prescription medication. His bail is set at $72,500.

According to a news release from the Sheriff’s office, scales, packaging
materials, prescription medications, two rifles, marijuana and 25.2 grams of
suspected methamphetamine which has “an estimated street value of $2,520” were
seized.

The release said “the warrant was the result of a lengthy investigation
conducted by Deputy Ken Young and Deputy (William) Paul Hinkle” of the Frazier
Park substation.

In a brief interview on March 13, Sgt. Dave Barker said another search
warrant was served on a residence in Lake of the Woods on Saturday, March 10.

Paraphenalia related to methamphetamine was seized. No arrests have yet been
made as a result of that warrant.
