Mountain Communities CERT ready to respond

It takes a village…to protect a village. After three years of preparation, a solid, trained team has emerged to anchor the Mountain Communities CERT (Community Emergency Response Team). They are trained to deploy during disaster and emergency events to the eastern portion of this mountain region, including Lebec, Frazier Park, Lake of the Woods, Cuddy Valley, Lockwood Valley and Piñon Pines. A Teen CERT plan is in development.
