Mountain lions and water woes—What’s the link?

  • This two-year-old male lion was found in the yard of a Neenach woman's home last month. Now mountain lions have been sighted in Pine Mountain and in Lake of the Woods, where one dog is confirmed to have been killed and as many as four others allegedly taken. A large mountain lion is believed to have taken dogs, cats and a raccoon in a neighborhood on the north side of Lake of the Woods recently.
