A hefty sound system pumped fun music through the Frazier Mountain Skate Park as agile young athletes on wheels started warming up at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 5. They were prepping for a “Best Trick” contest, the big attraction of the Whosoevers Skatepark Tour. When the competition began at around 3 p.m., a member of the Whosoevers MC’d the action, moving from section to section as different kinds of tricks were performed, some on boards and some on scooters.

Jake Steers, 18, of Frazier Park, got some air while warming up for ‘The Whosoevers Skatepark Tour’ on Saturday, June 5, at the Frazier Park Skate Park. After a long 15 months of Zoom classes and quarantine, the festive event brought out a community crowd of 150 to clap and cheer, eat, drink and be hopeful.
