Movin’ Out…from under the bridge

Last July we told the story of Randy Whitbread, a 59 year-old man who was camping under the Monterey Trail bridge with his girlfriend in a tent.

Whitbread suffered health problems in 2013 that led to the loss of his job and then his lines of support, leaving him homeless for about a year and a half. During our interview in July he seemed positive about his prospects, and seemed to feel he would be out from under the bridge one day soon.
