Nature journaling helps students learn

Free video series allows anyone to engage with Nature’s mystery

When the pandemic hit last year, Tejon Ranch Conservancy Education Coordinator Paula Harvey wondered how she could provide educational opportunities to students stuck at home learning remotely—opportunities that would also enrich their time outside in Nature during quarantine. In the past, classes from local and regional high schools and colleges met Harvey on Tejon Ranch, along with their instructors, for sessions in many subjects, including the sciences, arts and writing.
