1,800 apply for 650 jobs in Rosamond

Above and below: This Saturday, March 2, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. a job fair will be held at the Fairmont Market in Neenach at 22847 Ave. D (Highway 138).The publisher of Rosamond’s newspaper claimed 3,000 people applied for 650 solar farm construction jobs at SunPower’s Job Fair in Rosamond on Saturday, Feb. 23—but the company said they talked with 1,800 applicants.

This is just a small part of the line of people waiting to apply for SunPower’s jobs February 23, some arriving at 7 a.m.
