The United Way’s Community Reading Program at Frazier Park School is entering its second year. Tutors volunteer for just one hour a week to listen to four second graders each read, one-on-one. The concept is simple, but the growth in reading skills in the students is dramatic. Volunteers are still needed: call 661.245.3312.
