NEWS ALERT: Quick $1 Million ‘Walking Meeting’ in Frazier Park Called for Saturday, Sept. 19

With short notice, Kern County Roads Department Design Engineer Mark Evans has set a meeting for 10 a.m. this Saturday, Sept. 19, "to conduct a job walk for the upcoming pedestrian pathway project through Frazier Mountain Park."

The public is invited to the ‘informational meeting walk’ to learn more about the project. Participants are invited to meet at the southwest corner of Frazier Mountain Park Road and Monterey Trail (across from the Post Office).

Staff from the Kern County Roads Department will be on-site to conduct the walk, to provide detailed information about the planned project, answer questions and to gain input from the community. The project is said to represent $1 million in investment.

Evans said in a press release that those who cannot attend the meeting may contact the Kern County Roads Department for more information about this project. Mark Evans’ telephone number at the Kern County Roads Department is 661-862-8854.

"We look forward to seeing you on September 19," Evans said in his press release.
