The Mountain Communities were “haunted” on October 24 and 25, courtesy of the North Fork Ranch’s inaugural Haunted Hayride.
The event took weeks of planning to pull off, according to organizer Tami Tackett. “Maybe six weeks total from hayride idea to execution,” she said. Hosted by Gregg and Mary Avery at the North Fork Ranch in Lockwood Valley, for just $25 per person, the event offered a half-hour themed scare experience: Haunted Hayride: Tales of the Lost Souls.
