A happy-go-lucky spirit flooded through the Mountain Communities last Saturday as the very first Pickleball in the Pines Tournament (a joking title used on the sidelines) exploded with color and fun onto the Pine Mountain Club tennis courts. The PMC Pickleball Club hosted the Thousand Oaks Pickleball Club.

About 40 players from as far away as Thousand Oaks joined in the first Pickleball in the Pines tournament.

Thousand Oaks player Cheryl Glath goes in for a dink (short shot close to the net) behind the kitchen line. Even the lingo of pickleball is fun!

PMC Pickleball plays Monday, 9 a.m. and Wednesday, 7 p.m. Guest are always welcome—email Maxine at maxinebro@gmail.com. Come learn to dink.
