A political divide has split California over the perception of the recently passed “One Big Beautiful Bill.” Governor Gavin Newsom and U.S. Senators Alex Padilla and Adam Schiff have slammed the new bill, while two Kern County Republican Congressmen, Vince Fong and David Valadao, have defended their votes, arguing that the legislation delivers real benefits to Central Valley residents.
